I started my Speckl. journey in 2020 as a hobbyist making lovely things for my own home, & for friends & family. After a lengthy break during which I got married, moved to the Scottish Borders & started a family I decided the time was right to launch Speckl. in earnest.

I design & make all of my products from my home studio in the Scottish Borders overlooking the beautiful Cheviot hills in the distance. The landscape around me is a constant source of inspiration, from soft earthy tones to the calming textures found in nature.

I'm a full time mum to one very energetic toddler who keeps me on my toes. At the weekends we're often seen rambling around the Scottish borders or the coast as a family with our Labrador Luna.
